Facilitated Scoping:
This scoping session is designed to provide the Board with a venue for
constructive input about the viewpoints and concerns of a diverse spectrum
of stakeholders. This will assist the Board in crafting the alternatives
it will consider in a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Jackson
Demonstration State Forest Management Plan. Staff from the University of
California Cooperative Extension will facilitate this session. The
facilitators have identified stakeholders to present focused presentations
of approximately fifteen minutes each, after which the presenters will
entertain questions from the Board. Public comment will be provided for
via written comment during the presentations. The information from this
session will be compiled and presented to the Board by the facilitators.

Field trip:
A field trip is planned on JDSF to allow for the Board to visit various
places of interest. The itinerary has not been finalized. The public
should expect to provide their personal transportation and food, and to
carpool to minimize traffic.
